I spent a week at Eaton’s Ranch in Wyoming where I had to pleasure of photographing horses. I got to see the horses where they graze at night, and running down to the corrals in the morning. These beautiful animals are so expressive and soul filling. Many photo encaustic paintings started on this trip. This is one.
