Reflections in the Pond

On a hike I came upon a beautiful pond. The trees were reflected in the water, and there were bits of green growth on top, giving the scene an almost mystical appearance. After taking many photos, I cropped this one out and added encaustic medium and paint in an attempt to recreate the appearance of the water.
