In the Flow

I love the way encaustic paint moves. Sometimes, when in the studio, I enjoy exploring the workings of the medium with different colors. That is how this painting started. Once I had the paints where I wanted them I added pigmented shellac and set it aflame. The lacy effect is wonderful! I love to be in the flow of the medium.
